During Disney+ Day 2021, it was revealed that an animated ‘Marvel Zombies’ TV series was in development for Disney+, with Zeb Wells serving as the writer and executive producer. The series continues the universe established in the ‘What If…?’ episode titled ‘What If… Zombies!?’.

At San Diego Comic-Con 2022, it was announced that the series would be rated TV-MA and would premiere in 2024. In an interview on October 8, 2022, Zeb Wells shared that the first season would consist of four episodes. On November 28, 2023, Iman Vellani confirmed her involvement, voicing Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, who is one of the main characters in the series.

Not much is known regarding the plot of the series except for the fact that it won’t be a direct adaptation of the famous comic storyline, but we can assume that it’s going to have plenty of gore and action sequences, which is something that Brad Winderbaum confirmed talking about the show’s TV-MA rating.

Recently we’ve reported that Zombie Wanda is scheduled to be the main villain of the series, now we have different rumors that state that the show is set to introduce the so-called Infinity Hulk in the show.

If you’re confused by this variant of Hulk, it’s like the post says, Hulk with a full set of Infinity Stones, something we’ve already seen in ‘What If…?’ multiple times. But, combine Hulk’s overall physiology with such tech, and you have an unstoppable version of Hulk on your hands.

Fans already drew parallels between the so-called Infinity Hulk and Maestro Hulk introduced in ‘Maestro’ #1 (‘Hulk: Future Imperfect’ #1).

He is an alternate version of the Hulk who comes from a dystopian future where he has become a tyrant ruling over what remains of humanity after a nuclear apocalypse. Maestro possesses the intelligence of Bruce Banner but the savage strength of the Hulk, making him a powerful and dangerous adversary.

Other rumored characters set to appear are Blade and Moon Knight, with Blade taking over the mantle of Fist of Khonshu.
