McFarlane Toys has released exciting new action figures featuring some of DC’s most iconic heroes and villains. As fans gear up for the highly anticipated Superman film directed by James Gunn, McFarlane is bringing fresh collectibles to shelves.

A new set of 4.5-inch scale vinyl figures has been revealed as part of McFarlane’s Todd’s MODs line. The set includes Superman, King Shark, and Killer Croc. These figures have exaggerated muscles and fun design details, such as King Shark wearing boxing gloves and pink swim trunks.

King Shark is famous for his role in The Suicide Squad, while Killer Croc has been a long-time villain in Batman comics.

McFarlane Toys has also added a new Batman figure to its DC Multiverse seven-inch scale Collector Edition series. This figure, numbered #34, is based on Batman: Year 2, a classic 1987 comic storyline.

Designed in Todd McFarlane’s signature style, the figure features Batman having Joe Chill’s gun. Joe Chill is the criminal responsible for the death of Bruce Wayne’s parents, making this weapon a key part of Batman’s history.

While Batman is known for avoiding guns, some comics show him using them. In Batman: Year 2, Bruce Wayne considers using a gun against a villain known as The Reaper. However, The Reaper is ultimately defeated before Batman can act. This moment influenced other Batman stories, such as Batman Begins, where Bruce Wayne decides not to kill Joe Chill.

With Superman hitting theaters soon, more DC collectibles are expected. McFarlane Toys has been a leader in DC action figures, and fans can look forward to more heroes and villains joining their collection.
