‘Midnight Sons’ Project Scores Big by Hiring ‘Logan’ Writer to Pen the Script

A few months back, rumors circulated that Marvel Studios was working on the ‘Midnight Sons’ project, which is said to be connected to the upcoming ‘Blade’ reboot.

There’s been plenty of news related to the project despite it not being officially announced by the studio.

The most recent update comes from NexusPoint News. The outlet was provided insider information that Michael Green was hired to write the script for the upcoming supernatural flick set within the MCU.

Green is already notable in the comic book adaptations community for penning the scripts for ‘Smallville’ (21 episode), & ‘Green Lantern.’ Green also co-written ‘Logan,’ which is widely praised as being among the best superhero movies ever made.

Green’s involvement with the rumored ‘Midnight Sons’ project is not all that unexpected considering that he was also writing ‘Blade’ reboot, a movie with extremely troubled development. The natural connection between Blade and Midnight Sons, and the rumored fact that the former will lead into the latter makes Green a perfect fit for the role.

Recently, the first rumors on who will be in the team surfaced as well. You can expect Wong, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Blade, Werewolf by Night, & Man-Thing as the most likely members. Other names from most to least likely include Black Knight, Scarlet Scarab, Elsa Bloodstone, Dr. Strange, and even Agatha Harkness. The team will supposedly have 6-9 members.

Not much is known about the project, and it’s never been officially confirmed by the studio but plenty of insiders claim that the project is in development.
