New merchandise tied to Avengers: Doomsday is giving fans an early look at the film’s major characters and team symbols.

The new designs highlight several key groups that will appear in the film, including the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four. Each team is shown through its official logo, placed alongside artwork of Doctor Doom, who appears to be the central figure of the story. The visuals suggest a major crossover between multiple hero groups from different corners of the Marvel universe.

Avengers: Doomsday is an upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film produced by Marvel Studios and AGBO, and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and written by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely. The film is planned as the follow-up to Avengers: Endgame and will serve as the 39th entry in the MCU.

The cast is led by Robert Downey Jr., who takes on the role of Doctor Doom. The story brings together several major hero teams, including the Avengers, Wakandans, New Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men. These groups are expected to come from different universes and are forced to unite against a shared threat.

According to the film’s premise, the story takes place fourteen months after the events of Thunderbolts*. During this time, tensions rise across multiple worlds as powerful forces begin to collide. The heroes are drawn together as Doctor Doom emerges as a central danger that threatens the stability of their realities.

The merchandise artwork reflects this setup by placing Doom at the center of the design, surrounded by symbols representing each hero team. The Avengers logo appears alongside the X-Men emblem and the Fantastic Four insignia, hinting at a large-scale conflict involving multiple universes.

The development of Avengers: Doomsday follows earlier plans for the MCU’s Phase Six storyline. The film was officially revealed after changes in Marvel’s direction, including a shift away from the Kang the Conqueror storyline. The return of the Russo brothers as directors and Stephen McFeely as co-writer marked a major reset for the project.

Filming for Avengers: Doomsday took place between April and September 2025 at Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom, with additional location shoots in England and Bahrain. The film is part of a larger narrative that continues into Avengers: Secret Wars, which is scheduled for release in December 2027.

The new merchandise has increased speculation about how the different teams will interact on screen. While Marvel Studios has not officially confirmed full plot details, the presence of multiple team logos alongside Doctor Doom strongly suggests a story built around conflict, alliances, and a multiverse-level threat.

Avengers: Doomsday is currently scheduled for release in the United States on December 18. As promotional materials continue to surface, fans are getting a clearer picture of how large and interconnected the film’s story is expected to be.
