New ‘Ballerina’ BTS Video Teases Intense Action Ahead!

Ballerina, also known as From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, is an upcoming action thriller film. Directed by Len Wiseman and written by Shay Hatten, it’s the fifth movie in the John Wick franchise. This spin-off takes place between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019) and John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023).

The film stars Ana de Armas in the lead role, with Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Norman Reedus in supporting roles. Fans will also see familiar faces from the John Wick series, as Anjelica Huston, Lance Reddick (in his final screen appearance), Ian McShane, and Keanu Reeves reprise their iconic roles.

Recently a BTS footage has been released online showcasing Ana de Armas and Keanu Reeves practicing for an action scene. The BTS footage gives fans a good taste of what’s to come:

Ballerina takes place between John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and Chapter 4. It follows Eve Macarro, a ballerina-assassin, who trains in the assassin ways of the Ruska Roma to get revenge for her father’s death.

The movie is set to be released on June 6, 2025.
