During this year’s CinemaCon, Kevin Feige dropped the first F-bomb describing ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ as f****** awesome – he’s allowed to say that since the movie is “R” rated, keeping up with the overall theme of Deadpool’s character.

He also announced popcorn buckets, that will supposedly top even the ‘Dune’ ones, also keeping up with the general Deadpool spirit.

It seems that insults and vulgarity are a viable marketing campaign for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ after all we wouldn’t expect anything less from Merc With the Mouth. It sounds like Marvel and Disney are taking a creative approach to remind moviegoers to silence their cell phones during screenings. Using Deadpool and Wolverine, two beloved characters known for their irreverent humor.

Deadpool tries to discuss theories about ‘Avengers: Secret Wars,’ but is repeatedly interrupted by ringing cell phones. Wolverine eventually explodes, addressing the audience and using colorful language to emphasize the importance of silence in theaters.

According to The Hollywood Reporter’s sources, this short “educational” spot is indeed meant to be played in theaters.

Everything Deadpool-related passed with flying colors during CinemaCon, including the 9 minutes of movie footage shown to attendees.

The footage introduces Wade Wilson, now a car salesman, accompanied by his X-Force teammate Peter, who holds onto Deadpool’s old costume, hinting at a return to crime-fighting. At a surprise birthday party, familiar X-Men characters like Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead appear. Wade’s relationship with Vanessa is revealed as amicable but no longer romantic, as the two split up.

During the celebration, the TVA interrupts and transports Wade to meet Mr. Paradox, offering him a chance to play a significant role in the multiverse’s sacred timeline. Wade receives a suit upgrade and adamantium swords. Amidst humorous moments like breaking the fourth wall, Wade embraces his new role with flair.

We’re really excited to see the movie, and we’re also excited to be cursed at until we silence our phones.

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is scheduled to be released on July 26, 2024, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
