Bettany addressed that speculation directly when asked whether Olsen would return as Scarlet Witch in the upcoming series, offering a response that only deepened the mystery rather than resolving it. ‘VisionQuest’ picks up after the events of ‘WandaVision,’ following Bettany’s Vision as he grapples with a full restoration of memories, including everything experienced within the Hex, while navigating his relationship with the various AI presences inside his own programming, including James Spader’s returning Ultron. Ruaridh Mollica also joins the cast as Tommy Maximoff, Wanda and Vision’s now grown son, adding another emotionally charged thread tied directly to the character’s complicated family history.

Marvel has officially confirmed that ‘VisionQuest’ will premiere on Disney+ on October 14, giving fans a firm date to finally learn whether Wanda’s story truly concludes alongside Vision’s. Terry Matalas, who took over as showrunner after original ‘WandaVision’ creator Jac Schaeffer stepped back due to scheduling conflicts, has been steering the series toward what both he and Bettany have described as a story centered on intergenerational trauma and reconciliation between fathers and sons.
