Preview: A First Look at Absolute Batman #9 – Bane Returns!

DC Comics has shared a sneak peek of Absolute Batman #9, coming out on June 11, 2025. This issue begins a brand-new story arc called Ark (M). The comic is written by Scott Snyder and features artwork by Nick Dragotta.

In this new chapter, a strange place called Ark M is introduced. It’s supposed to help people who are lost or struggling. But something seems off. Ark M might be doing more harm than good, and it may even be helping create more evil.

Batman, also known as Bruce Wayne, decides to go inside Ark M to learn the truth. But he runs into trouble. A new villain appears, one who has strong ties to Gotham’s dark past. It’s a powerful man who once clashed with Alfred, Bruce’s trusted friend and butler. His name is Bane.

DC has released four preview pages and the cover for fans to enjoy. The artwork gives us a dark and gritty look at the story, and Bane’s arrival is both intense and exciting.

This issue looks like it will dive deep into Gotham’s hidden places and secrets. With Scott Snyder writing and Nick Dragotta on art, fans can expect strong storytelling and bold visuals.
