Preview: A New Mothra Rises in ‘Queen of the Monsters’ #3

The latest issue of the comic series Mothra: Queen of the Monsters #3 is set to release on May 21, 2025. Fans are excited to see what happens next in the epic story of the legendary kaiju.

In this issue, a new Mothra has arrived. The old Mothra may be gone, but hope is not lost. Mira and Emi have traveled back to the present after rescuing a Mothra egg from the Cretaceous period.

However, things did not go as planned. They ended up at Mothra’s original battle against Antra, and to make matters worse, they accidentally brought Meganulon back with them!

Now, Mira and Emi face a difficult challenge. They must raise and train the baby Mothra larva to be strong enough to fight Antra and the monstrous Meganulon. If they fail, the world will remain a dystopian nightmare of their own making.

The story is written by Sophie Campbell, with artwork by Matt Frank. Sophie Campbell also created the cover art for this issue.

This thrilling issue promises action, adventure, and the return of a legendary monster. Fans of Mothra and giant monster battles won’t want to miss it!
