A new team of heroes is here—and they’re ready to protect the people.
The Power Company: Recharged #1 is a brand-new comic that launches on April 30, 2025. This story comes after the events in Black Lightning and DC Power: Rise of the Power Company. Now, the team is getting a fresh start with a big mission.
Josiah Power and Jefferson Pierce (also known as Black Lightning) lead the team. Their goal is to help the world believe in heroes again and to stand up against people who hate metahumans—humans with powers.
In their first mission, the Power Company sends three heroes to Atlanta, Georgia. Jace Fox (the new Batman), The Signal, and Vixen are on the case. They are tracking down a dangerous serial killer who is targeting metahumans.
The story is written by Bryan Edward Hill, who fans may know from Batman & The Outsiders. He returns to DC Comics for this big issue. The artwork is done by Khary Randolph and Alitha Martinez, with covers by Edwin Galmon. This comic is a special oversized issue, meaning there’s even more story and action packed inside.
