Is Doctor Doom a Hero, Anti-Hero or a Villain Explained

Doctor Doom is one of the most anticipated characters in the MCU, as fans have been asking for ages for the studio to introduce him to the cinematic universe that is already populated by some of the biggest names in the comics, and some lesser-known names.

The latest rumors point in the direction of Doom being introduced in the ‘Fantastic Four’ movie, but not as the main threat, he will allegedly have a minor role in the movie before he is showcased as the “big villain.”

Now Cosmic Circus’ Alex Perez shed light on a theory that Doctor Doom was already a member of the Illuminati in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,’ and that was the studios’ original idea for the character.

The Illuminati, led by Stephen Strange, formed to defend their universe from significant threats. Its members included Strange, Charles Xavier, Peggy Carter, Blackagar Boltagon, Maria Rambeau, and Reed Richards, with Karl Mordo joining later. After Strange’s death, Wanda Maximoff brutally killed all members except Mordo, leading to the group’s dissolution.

As I’ve mentioned before the most likely candidates to have Doctor Doom involved are ‘Fantastic Four’ and the next ‘Black Panther’ movies. As far as who will be playing Doctor Doom goes? Several names have been thrown around, primarily Cillian Murphy and Mads Mikkelsen with Cillian appearing to be a fan favourite.
