Recently we’ve reported on the rumors of how the live-action ‘Teen Titans’ movie is in development and those rumors were confirmed to be true with the writer already picked to write the movie. Ana Nogueira, who is already working on ‘Supergirl: the Woman of Tomorrow’ was hired to pen the project. Now according to Production Weekly some new information came to light regarding the production and plot of the movie.

The movie is reportedly set to begin production in late 2025, and the following synopsis has been given:

The Teen Titans are further apart than ever before…until Damian Wayne recruits Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and the new Kid Flash to join him in a fight against his own grandfather, Ra’s al Ghul.

This is not exactly an original synopsis since it was taken from ‘Teen Titans Vol. 1: Damian Knows Best’ a collaborative effort between writer Benjamin Percy and artists Khoi Pham, Diogenes Neves, and Jonboy Meyers, with Meyers also contributing to the cover art.

Kid Flash, Starfire, Beast Boy, and Raven find themselves captured and restrained by Damian, who boasts about how easily he caught them. Damian explains his plan to recreate the Teen Titans, the point is to prove the strength of their teamwork. However, the other members are wary of Damian’s intentions, questioning his mindset. When they express their reluctance to follow him, he warns them that they must either join him or face being hunted by The League of Assassins. It was the first ‘Rebirth’ series and sounds like a good origin story for the team in the DCU as any.

But keep in mind that those “plotlines” put out by the Production Weekly are often generic in nature, and often don’t correlate to what we actually see on screen. Production Weekly also published a similar synopsis for Gunn’s upcoming ‘Superman,’ he later clarified that the synopsis wasn’t even remotely related to the plot of the movie.
