Since the end of that show, Hulk’s weird alien son has never been mentioned, even in passing, in the vast halls of the MCU, making this quiet callback feel less like an accident and more like an intentional breadcrumb.

This isn’t the only mystery Cretton has left dangling in the film’s aftermath. He also wouldn’t elaborate on what the movie’s post-credits scene, which depicts a Spider-Man sighting on another planet, actually meant, though he did promise that viewers “will find out” eventually.
