Rapman’s Supacell is gearing up for its second season on Netflix, and the series is officially expanding its world with two new cast members joining the sci-fi hit as post-production continues.

The South London superhero drama made a strong impact when it first launched on Netflix, quickly building a fanbase thanks to its mix of grounded storytelling and superpowered characters. Now, with season 2 deep in post-production after wrapping filming, the show is being positioned for a likely return in 2027, continuing the story that left audiences wanting more.

Alongside previously reported updates, including Koby Adom joining the directing team with series creator Rapman and other casting developments, two more names have now been confirmed. Christie Fewry and Rhoda Ofori-Attah are officially stepping into the Supacell universe, bringing new characters into the mix as the story expands.

Christie Fewry will appear as a character named Nia. She is a rising talent who recently graduated from Rose Bruford College in 2024 with a BA in Acting. Before landing this role, she was already building momentum on stage, most recently leading a sold-out production of Romeo Must Die at Theatre Peckham as part of the Peckham Fringe Festival. For Fewry, Supacell represents a major step into television and a high-profile screen debut.

Rhoda Ofori-Attah is also joining the cast as Claire. Unlike Fewry, she already has a strong screen presence, especially within Netflix productions. She has appeared in several major titles on the platform, including You Season 4 as Detective Monifa Sunday, Top Boy as Miss Griffiths, and roles in Sex Education and Shadow & Bone. She is also set to appear in the upcoming CBS Studios series NCIS: Tony & Ziva, further strengthening her growing profile across international television.

According to production updates, filming on season 2 has already been completed, and the project is now fully in post-production. That means editing, visual effects, and final polishing are currently underway as the series moves closer to release. While Netflix has not officially confirmed a premiere date, the current timeline points toward a 2027 release window.

At this stage, plot details remain tightly under wraps. It is still unknown exactly how Nia and Claire will fit into the story, especially as the main characters—Michael, Tazer, Sabrina, Andre, and Rodney—continue their conflict with the mysterious organization that drove season 1’s central storyline.

What is clear, however, is that Supacell season 2 is expanding its ensemble while continuing to build on the foundation of the original series. The introduction of new characters suggests the story will broaden in scope, likely increasing both the emotional stakes and the complexity of the world Rapman created.

As anticipation builds, fans are waiting for more concrete details about where the story is heading next. For now, the addition of Christie Fewry and Rhoda Ofori-Attah signals that Supacell is still growing, and preparing for a bigger return when it finally lands back on Netflix.
