Alien (Franchise)

The ‘Alien’ franchise is a science fiction horror series created by Dan O’Bannon and Ronald Shusett that began with the 1979 film and follows humanity’s terrifying encounters with the Xenomorph creatures. The franchise has expanded into seven films, including the original Ripley movies, prequels like ‘Prometheus’ and ‘Alien: Covenant,’ and the recent ‘Alien: Romulus,’ along with books, comics, games, and the ‘Alien: Earth’ TV series. It has also spawned crossover projects such as ‘Alien vs. Predator,’ making it one of the most influential sci-fi horror franchises in history.
