Avatar (franchise)

Avatar is a sci-fi franchise created by James Cameron that takes place on Pandora, a moon inhabited by the Na’vi. The story mainly follows the conflict between the Na’vi and human forces trying to take Pandora’s natural resources. The franchise began with the 2009 film Avatar, which became the highest-grossing movie of all time without adjusting for inflation, and later expanded with sequels including The Way of Water and Fire and Ash. The series has earned more than $6.7 billion worldwide and is one of the most expensive film franchises ever made.
