Camp Rock (Franchise)

Camp Rock is a 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie directed by Matthew Diamond and starring Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas, Meaghan Jette Martin, Maria Canals-Barrera, Daniel Fathers, and Alyson Stoner. The film follows aspiring singer Mitchie Torres as she attends a summer music camp and works toward achieving her dream of performing. It premiered on Disney Channel on June 20, 2008, attracting 8.9 million viewers and becoming one of the most-watched DCOMs ever. A sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, was released in 2010.
