S.W.A.T. (Franchise)

“S.W.A.T.” is an American action drama series developed by Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan, based on the original 1975 TV series and the 2003 movie adaptation. The show stars Shemar Moore as Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson and follows an elite S.W.A.T. team handling dangerous missions across Los Angeles. Premiering on CBS in 2017, the series became a long-running hit, earning Emmy nominations and building a loyal fanbase. After several cancellation reversals, the show ended with its eighth and final season in 2025.
