Star Wars: Starfighter (Film)

Star Wars: Starfighter is an upcoming Star Wars movie directed by Shawn Levy and written by Jonathan Tropper. Set five years after Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the film stars Ryan Gosling alongside Matt Smith, Amy Adams, and Mia Goth.

Development on the project began in 2022 but was delayed because of the 2023 writers strike, with Tropper officially joining as writer in 2024. Filming started in the United Kingdom in 2025, also taking place in Italy, and wrapped later that year. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on May 28, 2027.
