The Legend of Vox Machina (Franchise)

The Legend of Vox Machina is an adult animated fantasy series on Amazon Prime Video based on the Critical Role Dungeons & Dragons web series. It follows the original campaign’s characters, voiced by the same cast, including Laura Bailey, Matthew Mercer, Travis Willingham, and others. The show premiered in 2022 after a successful Kickstarter campaign funded its first season, and it has since been renewed through a planned fifth and final season.

The series has received strong critical and audience praise for its animation, humor, action, and faithful adaptation of the source material. A spin-off titled The Mighty Nein, based on Critical Role’s second campaign, was released in 2025.
