‘Teogonia’ Anime Confirms Dub Cast, Premieres on April 25
It has been a while since we’ve reported on the Teogonia anime, which quietly premiered on April 12, 2025 to solid reactions. Based on the novel series by Tsukasa Tanimai, the Teogonia series has been ongoing since 2017.
The anime, coming to us by Asahi Production, has been announced some time ago and fans of this isekai adventure had been eagerly aiting for the premiere. The series is distributed internationally by Crunchyroll.
In light of that, we are happy to confirm that Crunchyroll has confirmed the English dub cast members of the series, as the dub is premiering on April 25, 2025 and will be airing on a weekly basis.
Teogonia is an isekai adventure series that has a lot of interesting fantasy elements that takes place in a warring world full of intrigues and interesting interpersonal relationships. The original version has been airing for a couple of weeks now, and the dub will premiere on April 25 with the following cast members:
- Rebecca Chiara Marano as Kai
- Rebecca Danae as Jose
- Tom Aglio as Manso
- Ricco Fajardo as Olha
- Christopher Guerrero (Chris Guerrero) as Vezin
- Greg Dulcie as Basco
As for the crew behind the dub, we can confirm that Manuel Aragon will be directing the English dub. Zach Bolton is producing, while Jessica Sluys is writing the English script. Neal Malley is the mixer, and Jeremy Woods is the engineer.
And while Teogonia did not receive a simuldub release as some recent projects, the wait wasn’t that long and fans of dubbed anime series can now enjoy the series as well.
In case you don’t know what the story is about, here is a brief synopsis:
It’s a time of warfare where relentless battles continue between human and demi-human tribes like the Ash Monkeys (Macaque) and pig people (Ogres) invading human lands. Kai, a boy from the village of Rag, spends his days immersed in battle to protect his village. Amidst the harsh battles enforced by those possessing immense power known as “guardian bearers,” and as his comrades fall one by one, Kai suddenly recalls memories he shouldn’t have experienced – memories of a world with advanced technology and knowledge of people’s lives beyond this world. And thus, although Kai was just a villager, he soon finds himself embroiled in great trials… A magnificent fantasy tale unfolds, chronicling the struggle and growth of a single boy in a harsh world.
