Erin Moriarty, who plays Starlight, said she felt very satisfied with how things wrapped up, both personally and for the story as a whole.

She said, “I’m really satisfied, for selfish reasons, I’m not going to give too much away. But I’m really selfishly satisfied and globally satisfied.”

Laz Alonso, who plays Mother’s Milk, said he felt good about how the show was able to conclude on its own terms without being cut short or forced into a different direction.

He said, “I’m satisfied because we were able to end it on our terms.”

Cameron Crovetti, who plays Ryan, shared a similar reaction. He talked about reading the final script and how excited he felt about the direction of the story.

He said, “I’m very satisfied. I know when I got the script and read it I was like, ‘this is sick.’ Yeah, I was very satisfied.”

Not everyone felt the same way about the ending. Jensen Ackles, who plays Soldier Boy, said he personally wanted the story to continue longer.

He said, “No because it’s ending, I want more. I want seasons 6, 7 and 8. You’re talking to a guy that did 15 seasons of a show so I’m like ‘really 5 that’s it, that’s all we’re getting, come on we can do more than that.’”

Colby Minifie, who plays Ashley Barrett, said she felt satisfied with how her character’s storyline wrapped up. She also said she appreciated how many of the character arcs were completed in a meaningful way.

She said, “I’m satisfied for my character. I’m really satisfied with what happens to a lot of other characters without giving too much away. And I think they did a good job tying up all the loose ends.”

Susan Heyward, who plays Sister Sage, shared that she felt grateful for how the series ended. She also explained that she had strong feelings about her character’s final moments and wanted to make sure her voice was part of the process.

She said, “I’m really grateful for how this show ended, and I remember getting the draft, the first draft, of the final episode. I felt really really passionate about how it’s going to land. I wanted to make sure that I said my piece. So I’m very happy about that.”

Across the cast of The Boys, most reactions leaned toward satisfaction, even if some actors admitted they wanted more time with the story. The finale event showed a mix of closure, gratitude, and a bit of reluctance to say goodbye.

While opinions varied slightly, the overall feeling from the cast was that the ending gave the story a proper conclusion. For many of them, it marked the end of a long journey that stretched across multiple seasons and years of work on the series.
