The Flash is a superhero show that first premiered on the CW TV network in 2014 as a spin-off of another superhero show of that era, Arrow. The show follows the story of Barry Allen, a forensic scientist who gains superhuman speed and abilities after being struck by lightning. Now, with superhuman powers, Barry dedicates himself as the protector of Central City and, more importantly, the Multiverse.

The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/Flash, with Candice Patton portraying Iris West. The West-Allen family now needs to juggle their family with the new dangers threatening the betterment of the Universe. Of course, Team Flash includes Cecile, Allegra, Chester, and Khione, and their support will be instrumental in defending Earth-Prime.

The Flash Season 9, Episode 11 preview

In the recent episode titled “A New World, Part One,” we saw the prologue of the four-part finale, and it set up the epic ending of The Flash series.

Despite some older storylines being reused, in this instance, it seems that those past storylines have more sense for the ending of The Flash. We saw the tease of the Cobalt Blue villain, played by Rick Cosnett, whom fans know as the actor who portrayed Eddie Thawne in the first season of The Flash.

However, Eddie Thawne isn’t back from the dead, but the actor is portraying Malcolm Gilmore, whom comics book fans know as the evil speedster Cobalt Blue. It’s really poetic seeing Rick Consett’s version of the character being the last villain of The Flash since he was the first potential opposition of Barry Allen. Not just in love life but because he was the ancestor of Eobard Thawne, also known as the evil speedster Reverse Flash.

He sacrifices himself for the greater good and becomes the hero of Central City. At the end of the previous episode, we see Dr. Gilmore being struck by the speed force lightning, and it seems that both speed force and negative speed force struck the scientists since we see orange and red lightning.

The next episode, titled “A New World, Part Two,” has an interesting synopsis since the episode will seemingly include more Team Flash. Iris is worried about Barry’s disappearance, while Cecile is reassuring the woman that he will be fine. But will he? In the meantime, Team Flash will be affected by the mysterious substance, and Khione will understand her powers more.

Kayla Compton, who portrays Allegra in the show, will direct the episode, and it will be interesting to see how will this next episode follow the tension and emotion of the previous one.

From the synopsis, we could see a Team Flash-centric episode, but the previous episode synopsis also hinted at more Team Flash; instead, we got Barry for most of the episode.

Hopefully, we will see Cobalt Blue in action, and the episode will be on par with part one of the finale.
