It’s been over a month since MCU’s latest movie — ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ — premiered in theaters. And while superhero fans will have something to watch in the meantime — ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,’ ‘The Flash,’ ‘Secret Invasion,’ etc. — we are already gearing up for the next MCU event on the big screen, and after ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ gathered positive reviews and decent box-office result, it would be nice if Marvel Studios could keep roughly the pace with its next movie — ‘The Marvels.’

‘The Marvels’ is the second movie in the MCU’s ‘Captain Marvel’ saga. The movie was initially announced as ‘Captain Marvel 2’ before it was retitled. Why was it retitled? Because in this sequel. Brie Larson’s title character will be accompanied by Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau, who previously met in ‘WandaVision,’ and Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, who we previously met in ‘Ms. Marvel.’

Therefore, this movie is both a sequel to ‘Captain Marvel’ and a kind of mini-crossover. He watched the first teaser trailer last April, and while we’re waiting for more footage and posters, Marvel and Hasbro revealed today a new set of action figures based on the upcoming MCU movie.

‘The Marvels’ action figures revealed by Marvel and Hasbro!

While we’re still five months away from the next MCU movie, Marvel and Hasbro revealed a new set of action figures based on three main characters from ‘The Marvels.’ Each figure is 6 inches tall, and each of them comes with one additional Build-A-Figure part. For example, an action figure based on Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, comes with a small part that depicts Flerken with its mouth open.

Brie Larson debuted as Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, in the homonymous movie that introduced the character in March 2019. She reprised the role in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ two months later, and after that, she made cameo appearances in ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ and ‘Ms. Marvel.’ Now it’s time for her next full appearance in the MCU, and we have no doubt that she’s already tapped to appear in upcoming ‘Avengers’ movies.

Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani both debuted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe through Disney+ shows set in the franchise’s Phase 4. The character of Monica Rambeau first appeared in ‘Captain Marvel’ as a child, and Parris debuted as the adult version of the character in ‘WandaVision’ in 2021. Iman Vellani debuted as Kamala Khan in the ‘Ms. Marvel’ series on Disney+ last year. The final episodes of both of these shows have set up the events of the upcoming crossover movie.

Directed by Nia DaCosta, ‘The Marvels’ is set to be released on November 10, 2023.
