This June, DC’s All In Crossover “We Are Yesterday,” Reaches Its Climax with ‘Justice League Unlimited’ #8
Fans of DC Comics can look forward to an exciting conclusion this summer. Justice League Unlimited #8 hits comic book shops and online stores on June 25. The issue wraps up “We Are Yesterday,” a six-part story by writer Mark Waid and artist Travis Moore. It’s the first big crossover in DC’s All In publishing plan.
In this final chapter, the Justice League faces a tough fight. Time itself is breaking apart, hitting their Watchtower headquarters hard. Things look bad, but a desperate call for help might save the day—at least for a little while. The story also decides what happens to Gorilla Grodd and sets up something big for DC’s next major event.
“There’s a moment where it all hangs in the balance,” Waid said about the issue. “The team’s unity is tested like never before,” Moore added.
The comic features a main cover by Dan Mora, linking it to Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #37 and Justice League Unlimited #7. Other artists, like Ejikure, Tiago Da Silva, Salvador Larrocca, and Travis Moore, created variant covers.
There’s also a special DC Pride month cover by Hayden Sherman, who works on Absolute Wonder Woman, and a tribute cover with art by the famous George Pérez.
“You feel the weight of every choice in this finale,” Waid explained. “It’s chaos, but there’s hope in the fight,” Moore said.
Preorders start on Friday, March 21. Fans won’t want to miss how this story ends and what it means for the DC Universe moving forward.
