Trailer For Suicide Squad ISEKAI Has Been Released

Suicide Squad Isekai’ is an upcoming anime series based on DC Comics’ Suicide Squad team, set in a parallel world. Produced by Wit Studio and presented by Warner Bros. Japan, the series is helmed by director Eri Osada, with series composition and screenplay by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara, respectively. Character design is by Naoto Hosoda based on a draft by manga artist Akira Amano, while Kenichiro Suehiro provides the music. Scheduled for a 2024 premiere, the opening theme, ‘Another World,’ will be performed by Tomoyasu Hotei. Recently Crunchyroll revealed a fresh character list as well as the voice actors that will bring famous & original DC characters to life.

Today, the third trailer for the highly-awaited anime series has been released and you can check it out on the link below.

The current cast members that are supposed to appear in the anime are the following: Taku Yashiro voices Rick Flag, Chika Anzai voices Katana, Kujira voices Amanda Waller, Reina Ueda voices Fione, Mamiko Noto voices Aldora, and Jun Fukushima voices Cecil.

The so-far released synopsis of the show reveals that it will take place in Gotham City. Amanda Waller, leader of A.R.G.U.S., recruits a team of notorious criminals including Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark for a dangerous mission. Sent into a fantastical otherworldly realm connected to their own through a gate, they face orcs, dragons, and magic and experience a true Isekai adventure. The gang will have explosive implants in their necks, failure is not an option as it means certain death. Harley Quinn and her team will have to navigate the treacherous Isekai realm.
