I’m excited to share some fresh details about the upcoming Uncanny X-Men #13, set to hit shelves on April 9, 2025. This issue kicks off a brand-new storyline called ‘The Dark Artery,’ and it promises to be a chilling ride for the young mutants we’ve come to love.

The story centers on a group known as the Outliers, four young mutants who are about to face their most terrifying challenge yet. They’re based at Haven House in Louisiana, a place tied to Gambit’s old friends, the St. Juniors family.

Gambit has been guiding these young heroes, helping them harness their powers. But Haven House holds dark secrets, and the Outliers are about to uncover a hidden history that could change everything they know about mutantkind.

In this issue, the team stumbles upon a mysterious doorway at Haven House—one that should never be opened. There’s also a strange, otherworldly being that has its sights set on one of the Outliers, adding even more danger to their journey. The comic will explore a piece of mutant history that’s never been told before, making this a must-read for anyone who loves the X-Men universe.

X-Men team just come off a tough battle with a dragon named Sadurang. During that fight, Gambit pulled off a daring move, stealing the Left Eye of Agamotto from the dragon. Now, Sadurang is determined to get it back, and he’s sworn to return for what’s his. This sets up some serious tension for the issues to come.

The creative team behind Uncanny X-Men #13 is packed with talent. Gail Simone is writing the story, bringing her sharp storytelling to the X-Men world. David Marquez handles the art, with Matthew Wilson on colors, making every page pop. Clayton Cowles is the letterer, ensuring the dialogue flows perfectly.

The main cover is a joint effort by David Marquez and Matthew Wilson, while variant covers come from artists like Bengus, Capcom 2J, Chris Giarrusso, David Mack, and Luciano Vecchio. Jay Bowen is on design, Martin Biro is the assistant editor, and Annalise Bissa serves as associate editor. Tom Brevoort is the editor, with C.B. Cebulski as editor-in-chief, overseeing the whole project for Marvel.

Mark your calendars for April 9, 2025, because Uncanny X-Men #13 is shaping up to be a thrilling start to a dark and mysterious new chapter for the X-Men. I can’t wait to see where this story takes us next.
