‘Venom: The Last Dance’ is the final installment in the SSU’s ‘Venom’ franchise, and after a long silence mostly due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, the movie has released its first trailer ahead of the fall release.

The movie will be rated “R” which heavily pleased fans, and the trailer already showcased plenty of action.

In the trailer, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and Venom are on the run and the trailer as well as the title of the movie heavily emphasize that they’re not going to make it. Toxin has been confirmed to be the main villain of the movie. Keep in mind that there are rumors that Feige plans on incorporating Venom into the MCU. You can check out the trailer below:

In the ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ post-credit scene, Venom exposes Eddie to different universes, leading him to the Tom Holland ‘Spider-Man’ universe. However, in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’s’ post-credits, Eddie is returned to his own universe, leaving behind a piece of symbiote goo.

With Chiwetel Ejiofor joining the cast, there’s speculation that he may reprise his MCU role as Mordo. The script, penned by Kelly Marcel, originated from a story concept she and Tom Hardy developed together, so we can’t exactly use the source material as hints.

‘Venom: The Last Dance’ is set for release in the United States on October 25, 2024, in IMAX and other premium large formats. Initially slated for an October 2024 release, it was rescheduled for July 12, 2024, due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. Following the strike’s conclusion, the release was postponed to November 8, 2024, before being brought forward again to the original October 2024 timeframe. Recent reports suggest that the movie was pushed forward due to elections.
