‘X-Men’ Live-Action Reboot Close To Finding a Writer – Two Names Stand Out as Most Likely According to Reports

Reports Reveal Marvel Studios Plans For X Men Live Action Reboort Some Fans Are Not Going To Like Them

We know that the ‘X-Men’ reboot project has been in talks for quite some time now, and the studio is actively looking for writers. The latest scoops claimed that the studio wants a writer who is good at balancing comedy and drama, but the film shouldn’t be oriented too much toward comedy.

Now Jeff Sneider, notable industry insider and source of plenty of legit rumors and leaks claims that the studio has narrowed down the list of candidates to just two names.

According to his newsletter, the studio is looking to nab either Rafe Judkins or Michael Lesslie to serve as the writers of one of the most exciting upcoming projects.

Rafe is recently most popular for writing and show-running TV adaptation of ‘The Wheel of Time’ but he has plenty of other accolades. Between 2005 and 2022, Rafe was involved in various roles within the entertainment industry. Notable highlights include writing for shows like ‘Chuck’ and ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Additionally, he contributed to the screenplay and story for the film ‘Uncharted’ in 2022.

Michael Lesslie’s most recent project was ‘Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.’ In 2005, his short film ‘Heavy Metal Drummer’ earned a BAFTA Award nomination. Notably, he adapted ‘Swimming With Sharks’ for the stage, becoming the youngest person to open a new play in London’s West End. His play ‘Prince of Denmark,’ a Hamlet prequel, premiered in 2011. In 2015, Lesslie adapted ‘Macbeth’ for the screen, which competed at Cannes. He penned the original script for the ‘Assassin’s Creed’ film in 2016 and served as lead writer and executive producer on ‘The Little Drummer Girl’ in 2018.

According to some rumors, the studio want’s the adaptation to female-focused, and helmed by POC.
