According to coverage from CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Zendaya appeared at Caesars Palace this Tuesday for a major presentation focused on Dune: Part Three. The event took place at The Dolby Colosseum and gave fans and industry guests an early look at the next chapter in the sci-fi franchise.

Zendaya arrived on the red carpet alongside director Denis Villeneuve and co-stars Timothée Chalamet and Jason Momoa. The appearance was part of an early promotional push for the film, which is set for release on December 18.

The upcoming movie continues the story from Dune: Part Two and is based on Frank Herbert’s novel Dune Messiah. The new chapter takes place many years after Paul Atreides rises to power as Emperor. The story follows the consequences of his rule and the growing conflict caused by the religious movement tied to his name.

In this part of the story, Paul struggles with the massive influence he has over the Fremen and the wider universe. The empire is shown as unstable, with tensions growing as his leadership faces moral and political pressure. Zendaya’s character Chani remains an important part of the emotional core of the story as these events unfold.

Jason Momoa also appeared at the event while promoting another upcoming project where he plays Lobo in the Supergirl film. His presence at CinemaCon highlighted how many major franchises are currently being promoted at the same time.

Outside of Dune, Zendaya continues to stay busy with other major projects. She recently finished filming The Drama, a psychological thriller directed by Kristoffer Borgli, where she stars alongside Robert Pattinson. She has also continued her work on the HBO series Euphoria.

Dune: Part Three is being positioned as the conclusion of Denis Villeneuve’s planned trilogy. The director is reportedly aiming for a darker tone in this final film, focusing more on the consequences of power and leadership rather than traditional hero storytelling.

Villeneuve has also suggested that the scale of the film will be larger than the previous entries, using new techniques to show the vast world of the empire and its conflicts. With the main cast returning and the story moving into its final stage, anticipation for the release continues to build ahead of its December debut.
