Zendaya Takes Over Louis Vuitton in Bold New Monogram Anniversary Campaign
Louis Vuitton is marking a big birthday for one of its most famous designs, and Zendaya is right at the center of it. The fashion house is celebrating 130 years of its Monogram pattern and has chosen the actress to lead a new global campaign. The images and videos show Zendaya posing with the classic Speedy bag, one of the brand’s most recognizable items.
The campaign is part of a longer celebration that started earlier this year. Back in January, Louis Vuitton released ads focused on older, vintage bags to highlight how the designs last over time.
Bernard Arnault, the head of the company, recently spoke about this direction and said the brand wants to focus more on its core products. He explained that even though the Speedy bag is more than 50 years old, people are still responding to it in a big way.
One of the standout parts of the new campaign is a short film directed by Roman Coppola. In the video, Zendaya speaks directly to her handbag in a quiet, playful moment. She says she feels connected to it and describes the bond as a reflection of my own instinct for velocity. Zendaya has been a Louis Vuitton ambassador since 2023, and the brand confirmed she is just the first star featured in this anniversary rollout.

According to Louis Vuitton, more famous faces will join the campaign starting February 11. These include French film legend Catherine Deneuve and Squid Game star Hoyeon. The Speedy bag itself has a long history and has been reworked many times, including past versions covered in graffiti by guest designers.
The celebration will not stop anytime soon. The brand plans to keep the anniversary going through the year with pop-up stores and limited-edition releases inspired by the brown and gold Monogram design.
Outside of fashion, Zendaya is heading into one of the busiest years of her career. As of February, she has several major projects lined up. Just recently, the full trailer for her new A24 movie, The Drama, was released and quickly spread online. In the film, she stars with Robert Pattinson as a couple whose relationship starts to fall apart just days before their wedding. The movie is directed by Kristoffer Borgli and is set to arrive in theaters on April 3.
Her TV fans also have something to look forward to. HBO has confirmed that Euphoria will return with Season 3 on April 12. The new season includes a five-year time jump and shows the characters as adults after high school.
Zendaya will also appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31 alongside her real-life fiancé, Tom Holland. Later in the year, she returns as Chani in Dune: Part Three, which is scheduled for release on December 18.
With movies, television, and major fashion campaigns all landing in the same year, Zendaya’s presence is everywhere. Her partnership with Louis Vuitton is just one more sign of how influential she has become across film, style, and pop culture.
