DC and Marvel are bringing Superman and Spider-Man back together for a major comic event in 2026. The crossover will include both reprints of classic stories and brand-new adventures for fans.

The celebration starts in January with two special Treasury Edition reprints. On January 7, DC will release Treasury Edition 50th Anniversary of Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man #1, a reprint of the original comic that first teamed the heroes.

Then on February 4, DC and Marvel Present: Superman and Spider-Man Treasury Edition #1 will bring another long-unavailable story back to readers.

New stories will follow in spring 2026. DC will publish Superman/Spider-Man #1 in March, and Marvel will release Spider-Man/Superman #1 in April.

Details about the creative teams and plots haven’t been shared yet, but both issues are expected to bring fresh adventures while honoring the history of the characters.

This crossover is part of a larger collaboration between the two publishers that started this year.

The first project in this initiative was Deadpool/Batman #1, with Batman/Deadpool #1 scheduled for November 19. By revisiting older stories while adding new material, DC and Marvel aim to appeal to longtime fans and introduce these characters to new readers.

Seeing Superman and Spider-Man team up again is exciting for comic fans. Combining classic stories with new adventures is a smart way to celebrate the characters’ legacy while keeping things fresh.
