‘Stranger Things’ Star Noah Schnapp Says Final Season Won’t Please Everyone
Noah Schnapp is already preparing fans for mixed reactions to the ending of Stranger Things. Speaking in a recent interview, the actor said the final episode of the show’s fifth season is not going to make everyone happy.
Schnapp explained that trying to please every fan is not realistic, especially for a show this popular. “It’s literally impossible, which is why they’re not working to satisfy ‘this versus that,’” he said.
He added that the pressure around the final episode is huge because it does more than just end the season. “There’s so much pressure on that last episode to not just finish the season, but the last episode also tells a story of what the whole show was.”
Despite the noise online, Schnapp said the creators stay focused. “But I think the Duffers and us as a cast, honestly, are good at tuning out the noise.” He also pointed out that fans often disagree about what the ending should look like.
According to him, the show’s creators don’t let that affect their work. “There are always people fighting over what should happen and what shouldn’t. The Duffers are really good at being tunnel vision.”
Schnapp praised the way the series has been written from the start. “They’re so smart in how they write the show and everything has a purpose. Everything was planned.”
Stranger Things is now nearing the end of its run. The fifth and final season will wrap up with a finale that runs over two hours. The last episode is set to release on December 31 and will be available on Netflix, with select movie theaters also screening it.
The final season has already sparked debate among fans. Some viewers feel there are too many characters competing for screen time in the last eight episodes. Others have criticized the story, saying the apocalyptic plot has become too complex and heavy with mythology.
