Ortega was born in Mexico on August 31, 1987, and began his professional career around 2013. Over the years, he became one of the most recognizable voices in Latin American dubbing. Fans knew him especially for voicing Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He provided the Spanish-language voice for Tom Holland’s portrayal of the superhero in films such as Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Avengers: Infinity War. His voice became a defining part of Spider-Man for audiences across Latin America.

In addition to Spider-Man, Ortega was known for his work in animation. He voiced Tadashi Hamada in Big Hero 6 and returned for Big Hero 6: The Series. He also contributed to major animated projects like Finding Dory and Cars 3. His performances were praised for their emotional warmth and energy, bringing depth and personality to the characters he portrayed.

Ortega also worked in live-action roles. He appeared as a younger version of Jorge “El Burro” Van Rankin in Luis Miguel: The Series, demonstrating his versatility beyond voice acting.
