Donald Trump reacted quickly after the 2026 Grammy Awards ended, turning to Truth Social to vent his frustration. In his post, he called the ceremony hard to sit through and made it clear that his biggest issue was with the show’s host, Trevor Noah.

According to Trump’s Truth Social post, he was especially angry about jokes Noah made during the live CBS broadcast. Trump referred to Noah as a total loser and accused him of crossing a line with comments involving the late Jeffrey Epstein.

The moment that set Trump off happened while Noah was speaking onstage at the Grammys. Noah joked that winning a Grammy is something artists want almost as badly as Trump wants to buy Greenland. He then added that since Epstein’s private island was no longer available, Trump might be searching for another place to visit with Bill Clinton.

Trump strongly denied the claim in his online response. He wrote that he never went to Epstein’s island and said Noah was spreading false information. He also claimed that even major news outlets had not made such accusations.

In the same post, Trump warned that his lawyers might get involved. He suggested that Noah’s comments could lead to legal trouble and said the comedian should be careful. Trump also compared Noah to a late-night host he often criticizes, Jimmy Kimmel, and said CBS was lucky to be done with what he called pathetic programming.

While Trump focused heavily on the host, he did not mention one of the biggest moments of the night. Bad Bunny made history by winning Album of the Year, becoming the first artist with a fully Spanish-language album to take home the top prize. Trump did not comment on the achievement.

That silence stood out, especially since Trump has criticized Bad Bunny in the past. After the NFL announced Bad Bunny as a Super Bowl halftime performer, Trump said in interviews that he had never heard of him and questioned why he was chosen.

Bad Bunny’s win came just days before his Super Bowl appearance. In past interviews, the singer has suggested that strict immigration policies have played a role in his limited touring in the United States.

As the online argument continues, Trevor Noah appears to be moving on without concern. According to his team and recent announcements, he recently released a surprise stand-up special on YouTube. The show was filmed in South Africa and offered for free as a New Year’s gift to fans.

Noah is also in the middle of his Off The Record tour, performing across North America. Reports show several shows have already sold out, including dates at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium and Washington, D.C.’s Warner Theatre.

The Grammys may be over, but the clash between politics and pop culture is clearly not slowing down. Whether moments like this add energy to award shows or distract from the music itself remains a hot topic among viewers.
