John Leguizamo is famous for being a tough guy in movies, but seeing Bad Bunny on the Super Bowl stage really touched his heart. After the halftime show on February 8, the actor went on social media to tell everyone how much he loved it.

He said he was crying with pride because there was so much love on the screen instead of hate. He ended his post by saying that love wins every time. According to the Los Angeles Times, seeing a show performed almost entirely in Spanish was a huge moment for Latino people everywhere.

John Leguizamo has spent years pushing for more Latino stars in Hollywood, so this felt like a big win for him. He even stated that the whole thing was really getting to [him] because it showed that his culture finally has a major place in American entertainment.

John is not just talking about these changes; he is also working hard to make them happen. Just a few weeks ago, he joined other stars like Eva Longoria to sign a special letter to Hollywood bosses.

Variety reports that the letter asks for more Latino actors to be hired for all kinds of roles, not just the usual ones. They want to make sure the people making big decisions at movie studios represent everyone.

Even though he is busy with his activism, John is still a huge movie star. He is currently getting ready for a big new movie called The Odyssey, which is directed by Christopher Nolan. It is a massive project with a budget of around $250 million and stars other big names like Matt Damon and Zendaya.

In this movie, John plays a character named Eumaeus, and fans are excited to see him in such a giant action story on IMAX screens this July. Besides acting in blockbusters, John is also becoming a writer for kids.

He has a new book coming out on August 4 called Kiki and the Can: Paint His World. The story is about a young boy who uses spray paint to show how proud he is of where he comes from. John told People magazine that he wrote it because he wants kids to see themselves in the books they read at school.

John is also very active online when it comes to helping others. He often talks about things like rights for immigrants and making sure everyone is treated fairly. He is one of the busiest people in show business right now, but he still makes time to support other artists.

Do you think that a Spanish-only performance at the Super Bowl is the ultimate sign that Latino culture has finally taken its rightful place at the center of American entertainment? Share your thoughts in the comments.
