Margaret Qualley Steals the Spotlight in Bleachers’ Steamy “You and Forever” Music Video
Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff have returned with another artistic collaboration that feels more like a home movie than a traditional promotional clip.
The pair, who wed in the summer of 2023, have frequently merged their creative worlds, but this latest entry captures a specific kind of domestic intimacy. As the lead single for the upcoming Bleachers album, the track sets a high bar for the band’s fifth studio effort.
The music video for You and Forever was directed by Alex Lockett and released on Wednesday, February 11. It features Qualley in a minimalist apartment setting, largely focused on her expressive movements and quiet presence. Meanwhile, Antonoff is seen navigating the outdoor elements, appearing somewhat disheveled and even taking a punch during his journey.

The lyrics of the song lean into the themes of devotion and the passage of time that have become a hallmark of Antonoff’s writing. He sings, I had never known my name until you spoke it from your chest. Yes, the heavens opened up and pulled me in, I stared and said, ‘Oh, yeah.’ The chorus reinforces this sentiment with the repeated mantra, That’s forever. Darling, just you and forever.

Official descriptions of the new album, titled everyone for ten minutes, suggest a shift toward a more hopeful sound for the New Jersey-based group. The project is described as an optimistic record that feels lovestruck and hopeful, leaping from harmony-laden folk rock to shimmering pop soul to the sax-assisted New Jersey sound that Bleachers have become synonymous for. Fans can expect the full long-player to arrive on May 22 via the Dirty Hit label.

This is not the first time the couple has worked together on a visual project for the band. In 2024, Qualley starred in and choreographed the video for Tiny Moves, which was also directed by Lockett. That collaboration was widely praised for its blend of dance and raw emotion, establishing a visual language for the couple’s public creative partnership.
Margaret Qualley has remained incredibly busy in the acting world alongside these musical cameos. She recently garnered significant acclaim for her role in the body-horror hit The Substance, where she starred opposite Demi Moore. Her performance in that film was noted for its physical intensity and has kept her at the forefront of conversations regarding the most versatile actors of her generation.
Looking ahead, Qualley has several major projects slated for release throughout 2026. She is set to star in the black comedy thriller How to Make a Killing, directed by John Patton Ford, which features an ensemble cast including Glen Powell and Ed Harris. Additionally, she will appear in The Dog Stars, a post-production project that further cements her status as a staple of independent and prestige cinema.
Other recent credits for the actress include Blue Moon, directed by Richard Linklater, and the dark comedy Honey Don’t! where she reunited with director Ethan Coen.
Her ability to bounce between high-concept horror, indie dramas, and high-energy music videos has made her a unique fixture in Hollywood. Between her marriage to one of the industry’s most prolific producers and her own rising filmography, she is rarely out of the spotlight.
