Celebrities Turn Heads at Loewe Fashion Show During Paris Fashion Week

The historic Château de Vincennes provided a stunning setting for Loewe’s latest fashion show during Paris Fashion Week on Friday, March 6. Guests gathered to see the Womenswear Fall/Winter collection, which was staged among giant, plush sea creatures created by artist Cosima von Bonin.

The playful installation set a whimsical tone that reflected the brand’s creative direction, according to fashion sources. Designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, now in their second season at Loewe, focused the collection on deep-sea exploration and curiosity.

Their runway invitations featured a quote from scholar James P. Carse: “A finite game is played for the purpose of winning, an infinite game for the purpose of continuing the play.” The designers explained that this idea guided their work, asking, “What is fashion but an open field for endless creative play?”

The front row was packed with celebrities, including Emily Ratajkowski, Lil Yachty, Aubrey Plaza, Sissy Spacek, and Julia Garner. Other notable attendees included David Jonsson, Metro Boomin, Hari Nef, Lucas Hedges, Wang Yibo, Giselle, Talia Ryder, and True Whitaker.

Their presence highlighted Loewe’s continued cultural influence during the brand’s 180th anniversary year. The collection was bold and energetic, featuring inflated silhouettes, colorful latex pieces, and intricate leather knits.

Everyday items like parkas, scarves, and slip dresses were reimagined in exaggerated, playful forms. House icons such as the Amazona 180 satchel were included, providing a link to Loewe’s long history while embracing a fresh, modern approach.

Guests at the show are balancing busy schedules with major projects this year. Julia Garner has been preparing for the upcoming Madonna biopic, where she stars in the title role.

Aubrey Plaza continues to earn praise for her film work, with fans admiring both her acting and personal style. McCollough and Hernandez, who previously led Proenza Schouler, are successfully guiding Loewe toward a more playful, artistic direction.
