Dakota Fanning Spends the Afternoon With Elle Fanning and Her Boyfriend Gus Wenner
Dakota and Elle Fanning were spotted enjoying a relaxed lunch in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 7. They were joined by Elle’s longtime boyfriend, Gus Wenner, at the popular Jon & Vinny’s restaurant, soaking up the mild spring weather.
Dakota, 32, looked stylish in a light plaid long coat over a white dress, accessorized with delicate jewelry. Elle, 27, chose a breezy white cardigan paired with a yellow skirt from Tanner Fletcher. Wenner, the CEO of Rolling Stone, kept it simple in a blue long-sleeve shirt, dark trousers, and brown shoes.
The sisters are known for being very close, and they often show support for each other publicly. Recently, Elle shared a heartfelt birthday message for Dakota, praising her accomplishments and expressing her love for her older sister. Their bond remains strong as they both continue to make waves in the entertainment industry.
Dakota has been busy with TV and streaming projects. She recently starred in the Peacock miniseries All Her Fault and the limited series Ripley. She is also set to executive produce and star in an upcoming Apple TV thriller from Homeland producer Alex Cary, following an undercover Treasury agent entangled in a complex international case.
Elle is having a big year as well. She received acclaim for her role in the drama Sentimental Value and is preparing to reprise her role as Effie Trinket in the Hunger Games prequel, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, coming later this year. She will also star in the miniseries Margo’s Got Money Troubles.
Fans are especially excited about the sisters’ first major on-screen collaboration in an adaptation of the historical novel The Nightingale, where they will play sisters—a project they’ve dreamed about for years.
Both Dakota and Elle have spoken about how much their relationship helps them stay grounded in Hollywood. By supporting each other, they manage the pressures of the industry while continuing to thrive in their respective careers.
