Adam Scott has opened up about a frustrating trip to Coachella, saying the experience was far from enjoyable and even calling it “terrible.”

The actor shared the story during a recent appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, where he explained that he went to the California music festival with his wife Naomi and their 17-year-old daughter Frankie, along with a group of her friends.

Scott said the family mainly went to support the teenagers, dropping them off and picking them up across different days of the festival. But on Saturday, he and his wife decided to stay inside the event for a while so they could watch The Strokes perform.

That part of the day was the highlight for him. He said that seeing the band was the only moment he actually enjoyed.

He explained that everything after that quickly became uncomfortable. According to Scott, once the performance ended, there was nowhere easy to relax or wait between sets, and the festival environment made it difficult to just take a break.

He also mentioned plans to stay longer for Justin Bieber’s headline set, which he described as a strong performance. Even so, the rest of the experience around it was exhausting for him.

Scott described a long search for his daughter and her friends after the show. Once they finally met up, the situation didn’t get easier. Getting out of the festival became another major challenge.

He said the group ended up stuck in traffic for hours trying to leave the parking area, with the exit process taking far longer than expected.

By the end of the night, Scott said they didn’t get home until early morning, which made the entire outing even more draining for him personally.

This year’s Coachella took place over two weekends in Indio, California, running from April 10 to April 19. The lineup included major performances from artists such as Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, and Karol G.

Scott’s comments are relatable for anyone who has been to a huge festival but didn’t fully enjoy the crowd, waiting, and logistics. Coachella is built for energy and long nights, but it clearly doesn’t work for everyone, especially parents just trying to supervise a group.
