With Euphoria Season 3 moving through its run, creator Sam Levinson is hinting that the biggest developments are still ahead. He described the season as building toward an “emotional and thrilling journey,” suggesting the story will continue to escalate in intensity.

Recent episodes have started to pull the different character groups into direct conflict. One growing storyline involves rising tension between two opposing sides led by Alamo, played by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Laurie, played by Martha Kelly. At the same time, Cassie, played by Sydney Sweeney, has begun moving closer into Maddy’s world, played by Alexa Demie, adding more tension to their already complicated relationship.

Levinson recently spoke in Los Angeles about what is coming next. He suggested that several major shifts are still ahead for the characters, describing them as sudden “tsunamis” that will shake up the story. He compared the season’s structure to a ride that keeps climbing before dropping into bigger moments.

Cinematographer Marcell Rév also hinted that the middle and later parts of the season will change tone. He said Episode 6 becomes noticeably darker, while Episode 7 focuses more on emotional weight as it builds toward the end of the season.

Online fan theories have been active throughout the season, but Levinson said none have fully matched where the story is actually heading. Still, he acknowledged that viewers correctly noticed troubling signs around the character Angel, played by Priscilla Delgado. He also added that her storyline has more depth left to explore.

Levinson has also been paying attention to audience reactions online as episodes air. He described the strong discussions on social platforms as something he values, saying it is meaningful when viewers react strongly, whether positively or negatively.

He also addressed the possibility of the series ending after Season 3. While there has been speculation among fans, he did not confirm any final decision. He noted that HBO does not currently support releasing finale episodes in theaters, even though he personally thinks it could be interesting.

Levinson added that he is open to continuing the show beyond this season. However, he also said that if it does continue, he would likely take a long break first to spend time with family and develop a new direction for future stories.

Overall, Season 3 appears to be moving toward heavier conflict and more emotional turning points, with key character relationships shifting as the end approaches.

The show is clearly building toward major consequences, and the way the cast and creator describe it suggests the final stretch will be intense. At the same time, leaving the future of the series uncertain keeps viewers more engaged. What do you think about where Euphoria is heading? Do you want the story to continue beyond Season 3 or should it end here? Share your thoughts in the comments.
