Prime Video’s ‘Fallout’ Expands Cast With Big New Additions for Upcoming Season
Prime Video’s hit series Fallout is gearing up for its next season with some major casting updates and returning talent stepping into bigger roles.
Emmy winner Aaron Paul is set to join Season 3 of the show, bringing another high-profile name into the post-apocalyptic world. Annabel O’Hagan and Dave Register have also been promoted to series regulars for the upcoming season, joining Frances Turner, who was already upgraded to a regular role in Season 2.
The series is produced by Kilter Films, with executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy leading the creative team. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner continue as creators, showrunners, and executive producers. The show has already become a massive success, reportedly surpassing 100 million viewers across its first two seasons.
Aaron Paul’s casting also reconnects him with Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy after their earlier collaboration on HBO’s Westworld. The actor is widely known for his Emmy-winning role as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, and his return to working with the duo has drawn attention from fans of both projects.
Based on the long-running video game franchise from Bethesda Game Studios, Fallout takes place in a world destroyed by nuclear war. The story follows people who leave underground shelters and discover a harsh, chaotic surface world filled with danger, strange factions, and dark humor.
The series stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner. It has been one of Prime Video’s biggest successes, with both seasons ranking among the platform’s most-watched releases.

Season 2 was especially well received by audiences and critics for expanding the world and deepening the character stories while keeping the show’s mix of violence, satire, and strange humor. Reviewers praised its stronger world-building compared to Season 1 and noted that it managed to balance faithful video game adaptation with original storytelling choices that worked well for television.
Some criticism focused on pacing in certain episodes, but overall reception leaned strongly positive, helping build even more anticipation for what comes next.
Production credits also include Todd Howard of Bethesda Game Studios, along with James Altman and Margot Lulick. Amazon MGM Studios continues to produce the series in partnership with Kilter Films and Bethesda.
