‘The Bear’ Drops First Teaser for Final Season and Fans Are Already Emotional
The end is finally in sight for The Bear. After years of chaos, stress, emotional breakdowns, and unforgettable moments inside the kitchen, the hit FX and Hulu series is preparing to say goodbye. Fans recently got their first look at what’s ahead after a new teaser trailer for the fifth and final season was released, offering a preview of the show’s last chapter.
The Bear Season 5 will premiere on June 25. The final season will mark the end of the acclaimed series that turned a restaurant drama into one of television’s most talked-about shows.
The upcoming season picks up immediately after the dramatic events of Season 4. Carmy, played by Jeremy Allen White, shocked everyone by deciding to walk away from both the restaurant and the food industry. After years of dedicating his life to cooking, Carmy admits that he no longer finds happiness in it. Before leaving, he quietly removes his name from the restaurant’s partnership agreement, leaving the future of the business in the hands of the people closest to him.
Season 5 will focus on Sydney, Richie, and Natalie “Sugar” as they try to keep the restaurant alive without Carmy leading the way. The trio now faces enormous challenges. The restaurant is struggling financially, uncertainty hangs over its future, and new obstacles continue to appear. Despite everything working against them, they still have one major goal in mind: earning a Michelin star.
The final season promises to explore how the remaining team members step into bigger leadership roles. Sydney, who has grown tremendously since joining the restaurant, finds herself carrying more responsibility than ever before. Richie, whose personal growth has been one of the show’s most celebrated storylines, also becomes a key part of the restaurant’s future. Natalie continues trying to hold everything together while managing the endless problems that come with running the business.
Even though Carmy has stepped away, fans will still see Jeremy Allen White return for the final season. Joining him are familiar faces including Ayo Edebiri as Sydney, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richie, and Abby Elliott as Natalie. The cast also includes Lionel Boyce as Marcus, Liza Colón-Zayas as Tina, and Matty Matheson as Neil Fak.
Several recurring cast members are also set to return. These include Oliver Platt, Will Poulter, Ricky Staffieri, and Academy Award winner Jamie Lee Curtis, whose appearances have become some of the most memorable moments throughout the series.

The newly released teaser trailer does not reveal every detail about the final season, but it makes one thing clear: the restaurant’s future is hanging by a thread. The preview hints at emotional reunions, difficult decisions, and one final push to achieve the dream that has driven the team for years.
Viewers will have two different ways to watch. Fans streaming on Hulu will be able to watch all eight episodes when the season premieres. Meanwhile, FX will begin with the first two episodes before releasing the remaining episodes weekly.
For those who need a refresher before the finale arrives, all previous seasons of The Bear are currently available on Hulu. With the final season approaching and the first teaser trailer now released, fans are preparing for one last visit to the kitchen. After years of watching Carmy and his team fight through pressure, loss, and impossible expectations, the series is getting ready to serve its final course.
