‘The Bear’ Final Season Trailer Shows Carmy and Sydney Racing to Save the Restaurant From Disaster
FX has released the trailer for the fifth and final season of The Bear, giving fans a tense first look at the last chapter of the hit restaurant drama.
According to FX, the new season puts the staff of The Bear under extreme pressure as both personal and professional crises hit at the same time. The trailer shows Sydney, played by Ayo Edebiri, stepping into a leading role in the kitchen as she takes on more responsibility as head chef. With Carmy stepping back from full control, the restaurant’s future now depends heavily on her leadership.
At the same time, the team is shown struggling with a series of escalating problems. The building is threatened by a flood, deliveries are disrupted, and financial pressure continues to grow as the restaurant faces possible closure or sale. The combination of these issues pushes the crew into constant crisis mode, forcing them to fight just to keep the business running day by day.
Season 4 ended with Carmy, played by Jeremy Allen White, emotionally distancing himself from the restaurant world after years of burnout and pressure. That decision left Sydney, Richie, and Natalie to carry the weight of The Bear moving forward. However, the new trailer suggests Carmy does return this season, reconnecting with his team after time away.
In one of the most emotional moments shown in the trailer, Carmy speaks directly to his staff and says, “I look at you all, and I love you so much.” The line hints at unresolved tension but also suggests a final attempt to rebuild relationships as the series heads into its closing season.
The ensemble cast also returns in full force. Alongside Edebiri and Allen White, the series features Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Matty Matheson. Recurring guest stars such as Oliver Platt, Jon Bernthal, and Molly Gordon are also expected to appear, continuing the show’s tradition of strong supporting performances.

Over its previous seasons, The Bear has become known for its intense storytelling, fast-paced kitchen scenes, and emotional character development. The show has also featured a wide range of guest appearances from major names in film and television, adding to its reputation as one of FX’s most acclaimed modern series.
The series was created by Christopher Storer, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, Hiro Murai, Nate Matteson, and Matty Matheson. Storer also continues his role as a primary director, working with Hiro Murai and other returning directors to shape the final season.
FX confirmed that all eight episodes of the final season will be released on June 25 on Hulu and FX, marking the conclusion of the story that began with Carmy’s return to Chicago and the transformation of a small sandwich shop into a high-pressure fine dining restaurant.
With the trailer now released, the final season appears set to bring the story full circle, focusing on survival, leadership, and the emotional cost of chasing perfection in the kitchen.
