‘Eternity’ Star Elizabeth Olsen Gets a Quiet Dior Moment as Paris Fashion Week Puts the House in the Spotlight
Elizabeth Olsen has been part of the Dior orbit for years, and her relationship with the house has played out from Paris front rows to premiere red carpets. She attended the Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2015 show in Paris and returned to the house’s Haute Couture presentation in July 2017. The pairing has proven durable, and fans keep coming back to it.
On the red carpet, she wore a crisp white wool and silk crepe Christian Dior suit to the premiere of Netflix’s ‘Kodachrome’. Red Carpet Fashion Awards praised the outfit for its modern, sophisticated feel.
Now a new photo of Elizabeth Olsen for Dior is making the rounds online. It appears to be part of a set of never-before-seen portraits released by celebrity makeup artist and hairstylist Ashleigh Carpenter, who shared archival images on Instagram showing her work on Olsen for Dior. Carpenter explained that these were the last photos from the session that had never been released, and that she created the makeup and hair using Dior Beauty products.

The image is a study in restraint. Olsen wears a navy shirt with a soft, open collar and rolled sleeves over a dark pleated skirt, standing against a moody backdrop with a sliver of wooden floor visible at the edge.
Her honey-blonde hair is swept to one side in loose waves, and her makeup features a smoky eye. She holds a small white embellished handbag in one hand and wears a slim gold bracelet, with the muted palette letting the accessory stand out.
The release lands in the middle of Paris Fashion Week, which runs from September 28 through October 6 and is showing the Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear collections. With 101 houses on the official calendar, it is the largest edition in the event’s history.
Dior showed on Tuesday, September 29, with creative director Jonathan Anderson presenting the collection on a white catwalk built over the Tuileries Garden’s octagonal basin. The show featured metallic trousers, structured jackets and sheer feathered skirts, and Anderson’s floral motifs included jackets covered in baby-pink fabric petals.
The front row included Rihanna, Jisoo, Jennifer Lawrence, Eileen Gu and Anya Taylor-Joy. The show came one year after Anderson’s womenswear debut, and he has been credited with injecting a contemporary edge into the brand after 2 years of declining sales.
Reactions to Olsen’s portraits have been warm but mixed. Some fans called the quiet elegance a perfect fit for her, while others loved how the relaxed styling made the portraits feel special.
Others said they still prefer her classic Dior red carpet looks. A few were more interested in the Dior Beauty makeup and hair than the clothes.
Olsen has stayed a visible presence in Paris fashion in the last few seasons. She attended the Patou show in July 2025, and in January she wore a look from Jacquemus’ fall 2026 collection to that house’s show.
She was also at the Givenchy Womenswear Fall/Winter 2026-2027 show during Paris Fashion Week in March. Together with the Dior connection, it shows that she is a regular on the front-row circuit and a fashion favorite.
