Ester Expósito Dazzles in Sheer Black at Messika Show During Paris Fashion Week
Few young stars have made Paris Fashion Week feel like a second home quite like Ester Expósito, and her Messika show appearances have become one of the season’s most reliable traditions. The Spanish actress, best known for ‘Elite,’ has long blended red carpets, front rows and Instagram into a style that refuses to commit to a single label. Her feed has shown her in everything from Jean Paul Gaultier to Vivienne Westwood, with Messika jewels in the mix.
Her history with the jewelry house goes back at least to 2023. She sat in the front row of Messika’s High Jewelry Show at the Pavillon Cambon, close to Cher. That evening celebrated the Maison’s 10th anniversary with the ‘Midnight Sun’ collection, 140 creations, and a guest list that also included Carla Bruni, Ashley Graham, Taraji P. Henson and Kelly Rowland.
The brand has only grown louder since. Messika marked its 20th anniversary on Oct. 3, 2025, unveiling the ‘Terres d’Instinct’ High Jewelry collection at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, a lineup infused with the energy of Southern Africa. It confirmed the label as a staple of the Paris calendar.

On Thursday, Oct. 1, Expósito was back. She attended the Messika show during Paris Fashion Week, and photos from the evening spread quickly across X. The official Paris Fashion Week calendar lists a Messika ‘Terres de Contrastes’ haute joaillerie event among its events of the week, and the womenswear schedule for Spring/Summer 2027 runs through Oct. 6.

The look was pure after-dark glamour. Expósito wore a black gown with ruffled detailing and a sheer skirt, and the back view revealed a draped, open-back neckline. She kept her hair in a sleek low ponytail, and the purple Messika-branded backdrop made the dark silhouette pop in every frame. It balanced elegance with a little edge, much like the bold-but-refined jewelry the house is known for.

She wasn’t the only famous face in the room. Just Jared reported that Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham, Julianne Moore and her daughter Liv, and influencer Ollie Muhl also stepped out for the show. Bollywood actress Khushi Kapoor attended too, pairing a glossy burgundy leather outfit with sculptural gold Messika jewelry.

Fashion has been a major part of Expósito’s career this year. French outlet Numéro profiled her as a Gen Z style icon and noted that Desigual named her its new ambassador this spring. Her Instagram, the piece said, shows a chameleon who won’t choose just one designer.
She also fronted Marine Serre’s Spring/Summer 2026 campaign, ‘The Source,’ in February. A second chapter followed as a short film directed by Elora Thévenet, with Expósito starring opposite Momo Ndiaye. Her Messika appearances fit neatly into that growing résumé of Paris ties.

On screen, Expósito’s newest project is ‘Drawn Together’ (‘Enfrentados: Marfil’), which landed on Prime Video on Sept. 9. The romantic thriller was directed by Óscar Pedraza and adapts the first part of a duology by Mercedes Ron, with Hugo Diego García co-starring.
There is more in the pipeline. Variety reported on Sept. 8 that she is circling ‘Stink Eye,’ having signed a letter of intent to topline Cristina Sánchez Salamanca’s feature debut. She would play Belén, a striking model-influencer in a story built around a 13-year-old girl whose father leaves her mother. Variety also noted her 24.7 million Instagram followers.
With Paris Fashion Week still rolling through early October, there is a good chance fans will see even more of Expósito before the season wraps.
