Hawaii has a way of turning a wedding weekend into a celebrity reunion. Between private resorts, ocean views and a guest list full of famous friends, it is no surprise that the islands keep landing on Hollywood’s social calendar. This October, the spotlight fell on one of the most closely watched couples in entertainment.

Leonardo DiCaprio, 51, and his girlfriend, model Vittoria Ceretti, 28, were photographed enjoying a Hawaiian getaway around the weekend of October 10. The pair were relaxing on a beach in casual vacation outfits, a rare candid glimpse of two stars who usually keep a low profile. But the trip had a purpose beyond rest.

DiCaprio and Ceretti were among the guests at the wedding of jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer and music executive Geoff Ogunlesi, who exchanged vows on October 10 at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai. Photos from the ceremony show the pair among a sizable Hollywood contingent, and the event has since become one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings of the season.

The most eye-catching detail is who presided over the ceremony. Actor Tobey Maguire, Meyer’s ex-husband, officiated the wedding. The couple met years ago, welcomed daughter Ruby in 2006, married in Hawaii in 2007 and had son Otis in 2009 before announcing their separation in 2016.

PEOPLE reported that the ceremony took place less than a month after Meyer and Maguire finalized their divorce, more than a decade after their initial separation. They have remained on amicable terms as co-parents, and both Ruby, 19, and Otis, 17, took part in the wedding. It is a striking example of a blended family showing up for one another.

The guest list was packed. Alongside DiCaprio and Ceretti, attendees included Courteney Cox, Kate Hudson and Danny Fujikawa, and stylist Rachel Zoe. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos were also there, reportedly coordinating their looks, after marking their first wedding anniversary with a tropical getaway.

DiCaprio is a longtime friend of the Bezos couple, and he and Ceretti attended the Bezos and Sánchez wedding last year. Seeing them at another high-profile event suggests a social circle that has stayed close over time. At the Meyer wedding, the actor reportedly wore dark sunglasses during the ceremony, and Ceretti mirrored the look by perching her own shades on her head.

The Hawaii trip is the latest chapter in a romance that began around August 2023, when the couple were first linked. Ceretti, who was previously married to DJ Matteo Milleri, known as Anyma, opened up publicly about the relationship for the first time in an interview with Vogue France, saying that dating someone as famous as DiCaprio is “something you learn.”

They have also become more visible together. DiCaprio made his Met Gala debut in May 2025, joining Ceretti inside, and the two attended the 2026 Oscars together in March, the first time they had been at an awards show as a couple. DiCaprio was nominated for Best Actor for ‘One Battle After Another’, which earned 13 nominations that night.

For a couple that spent much of their early relationship trying to fly under the radar, the appearance at a high-profile wedding is a sign of how comfortable they have become. Insiders cited by several outlets have described DiCaprio as smitten with Ceretti and said she is the most serious relationship he has had in years. Their appearances together have grown more frequent, from red carpets to private celebrations.

There is also a broader story here about Hollywood’s changing relationships. A wedding officiated by an ex-husband, with the couple’s teenage children participating, is a modern take on family that fans seem to be embracing. Combined with the glamour of Lanai, it makes for one of the more memorable celebrity weddings of the year.

For now, there is no word on whether DiCaprio and Ceretti have plans of their own, and neither has commented publicly on the trip. Fans will likely keep watching for the next sighting, whether on a beach, a red carpet or at another friend’s wedding.
