A good fashion moment can turn a rising actress into a household name almost overnight. That kind of attention has been following Mika Abdalla since her series ‘Off Campus’ became one of the year’s breakout hits. This week, a new Valentino video is giving fans another chance to take in the look that put her at the center of Paris Fashion Week.

The short clip shows Abdalla in a plush white robe, her hair in a soft, wispy updo and her makeup warm and polished as she prepares for the Valentino show. It is a quiet, intimate preview of an outing that had already drawn plenty of attention. The video has been circulating widely as fans revisit the look.

The occasion was Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2027 show, titled ‘Antibiblioteca’, held on Sunday, October 4, at the Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève in Paris. Abdalla attended on behalf of Valentino Beauty, and the appearance was widely described as a milestone in her fast-rising career.

For the show, Abdalla wore a flowing, sheer olive-green Valentino dress, which Bustle described as a breezy chartreuse. The standout detail was an oversized lilac flower corsage worn on her shoulder, which gave the soft fabric a playful focal point. It was a very Valentino mix of romance and surprise.

The beauty look matched the mood. Her dewy skin and pinky-nude lip were paired with smoky brown eyeshadow and the wispy updo seen in the video, a combination she described as fresh with a hint of drama. She also wore Valentino’s new Born in Roma Rendez-Vous Ruby fragrance, which has a strawberry top note and a heart of jasmine sambac.

Abdalla explained her approach in an exclusive interview. She told Bustle that she felt “like myself while still embracing the vibe of the show.” She also said she treats fragrance as another part of getting dressed, matching it to whichever version of herself she wants to be that day.

She added that there are many versions of her, and that the person who attends an event like this is not the one who woke up the day before. It is a thoughtful take on fashion as performance, and a sign of how comfortable she is becoming in front of the cameras.

The show also marked a personal milestone. Abdalla, 26, arrived hand in hand with her ‘Off Campus’ co-star Josh Heuston, 29, in what was reported as their first public appearance as a couple. Heuston wore a gray knit sweater and charcoal trousers, and both wore the same Valentino fragrance.

The relationship had been the subject of fan speculation for months. A representative confirmed earlier this year that Abdalla had ended her engagement, and the pair were later photographed together. Another notable guest at the show was Zoey Deutch, who wore a floor-length leopard Valentino coat with large fur cuffs.

Abdalla plays Allie Hayes, a drama major, in Prime Video’s hockey romance ‘Off Campus’, which premiered earlier this year. She previously appeared in the Netflix series ‘Project Mc²’ as a teenager, and she has recently wrapped the show’s second season, in which her character is paired with Stephen Kalyn’s Dean. The series has turned its young cast into fashion and beauty fixtures.

Her Paris trip began a week earlier with a runway turn at L’Oréal Paris’s Le Défilé show, held with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop. That appearance, which reports described as her runway debut in Paris, made it clear that brands are paying attention. Her relaxed denim look stood out among more dramatic outfits and has been part of her appeal since the show launched.

The Valentino outfit has lasted in conversation partly because it felt unforced. Rather than leaning into heavy glamour, Abdalla went for soft color, a romantic silhouette and one oversized detail. The robe video adds another layer, giving viewers a glimpse of the preparation behind the polish.

For fans, it also underlines how quickly she has moved from a new face to a front-row regular. The attention is likely to grow as the second season approaches, and as brands look for the next breakout star.
