CBS has a new bloodsucking sitcom on its hands, and the third episode is shaping up to be the one where the coven’s carefully maintained rut finally gets disrupted. If you have been keeping track of the ‘Eternally Yours‘ release schedule, you already know the show is moving at a steady weekly pace. The series comes from the ‘Ghosts’ creators Joe Port and Joe Wiseman and stars Allegra Edwards, Ed Weeks, Rose Abdoo and Jaren Lewison.

Here is everything you need before the next round of fangs and awkward small talk arrives. We have the date, the time slot, the streaming options and a first look at what the ‘Eternally Yours’ third episode has in store.

‘Eternally Yours’ Release Date and the Weekly Rollout

The third installment is listed with a premiere date of October 22. That follows the pilot, which arrived on October 8, and a second chapter slated for October 15.

This is a classic CBS broadcast comedy, so new episodes drop weekly rather than all at once. No binge session is waiting for you here, which means the fan chatter will have time to build between each installment.

The episode is titled “The Mistake,” and it sits between the second episode, “Baby Vampire,” and the Halloween themed fourth outing. Given how close the season is to the spooky holiday, the placement feels very much by design.

Air Time and Schedule on CBS

The show airs on Thursdays in the 8.30 PM Eastern and 7.30 PM Central timeslot. That means viewers on the East Coast should settle in right as the evening comedy block gets going.

CBS

Each half hour installment runs from 8.30 to 9.00 PM Eastern and Pacific on CBS. It is a tight runtime, which suits a sitcom built around quick banter and awkward family dinners.

The slot used to belong to ‘Ghosts,’ which has moved to the network’s midseason lineup for its sixth season. In other words, CBS is trusting its new vampire comedy to carry the torch on a night that has long been home to one of its most beloved sitcoms.

Where to Watch ‘Eternally Yours’?

The simplest route is live television. The series airs on CBS and streams on Paramount+.

If you would rather stream, your plan matters. Paramount+ Premium subscribers can watch live and on demand, while Essential subscribers get access on demand the day after each episode airs. So if you want to avoid spoilers and still watch the same night, Premium is the way to go.

The app works across devices, so you can stream from your phone or tablet. That is handy for anyone who wants to catch up on the previous episodes before the next one lands.

Episode Preview of “The Mistake” and Why It Matters

Now for the juicy part. The coven throws an initiation party for a new vampire and invites prominent members of their community, including Aldrict, a troublemaker who has history with Liz. Anyone who has ever hosted a gathering with a difficult guest on the list will recognize the dread already.

The episode also reveals the vampire origin story of Jesse. Origin stories tend to be where a supernatural comedy finds its heart, so this could add some welcome depth to the supporting players.

The setup also fits the show’s central hook. Charles and Liz are a vampire couple living in present day Seattle whose marriage has gone stale after 500 years, and the arrival of their daughter’s human boyfriend shakes things up. A guest with a past, especially one tied to Liz, could crack open her history in ways the pilot only hinted at.

It is also worth remembering that this is a standalone world. Although it shares a creative team with ‘Ghosts,’ it is a separate series with a different cast and an unconnected story. That freedom lets the writers play by their own rules, and a party full of old vampire grudges sounds like a smart way to use it. So do you think Liz’s history with Aldrict will bring the coven closer together or tear it apart at the worst possible moment for Max?
