‘Blue Miburo’ Anime Confirms Season 2 for “Next Winter”

After 24 episodes, the first season of Blue Miburo came to an end on March 29, 2025. The anime did not become a major mainstream hit, but ever since its October 2024 premiere, it has attracted solid numbers and a devoted fandom.

This historical chanbara anime series was a refreshing take on the period, and with the great animation, fans definitely wanted more. In light of that, we can confirm that a second season of the anime series has been confirmed, and we won’t have to wait too long.

After the conclusion of the first season, the producers have confirmed that a second season is going to be made and that it will premiere “next winter”, which is either a late 2025 release or an early 2026 release.

The second season will adapt the “Serizawa Assassination” arc. A teaser trailer has also been released:
